Pictures from My Life

A close of friend of mine recommended this title to me, and the more I saw it, the more I knew it was perfect. I often say that I have had the most wonderfully diverse and fascinating life, and that if today were my last day here on earth, I would be happy for all that has happened to me over the years and not really have any regrets. I have seen so many incredible places and have lived such a varied life, and there is so much more out there to see and to do! One constant has been music. It is and has been my whole life. Look through these pages and see for yourself what fun and joy I have experienced from the beginning to the present. I had a newspaper article written on me one time and there was a subtitle that I just loved: “The Joy of Being Gigi Mitchell-Velasco.” That is so right!

Here you will find professional stage shots, photographs from my many travels and also personal pictures that I wanted to share with you. Since I have only been singing for less than a decade I am sure that I will have many more adventures and world travels to share with you. Of all the things I have done, I think I find singing the most wonderful and most rewarding. I heard a beautiful thing today, the day I am writing this: “One cannot rush the tide, it has it’s own meticulous rhythm.” How true that is for all of us. Look where my long journey has taken me.
